We deserve to have our interest protected in Europe, said Boyko Borisov, the Prime Minister of Bulgaria.
A good impression makes also the fact that both sides in the politics – the governing and the opposition, are working together for the country’s accession in the Schengen area.
This was stated by the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov after a meeting with the German Interior Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, BGNES reported.
Borisov said that Bulgaria is very close to joining the Schengen area.
As for the gas hub, Bulgarian Prime Minister said that there is a possibility of its construction in Bulgaria, and could be supplied with gas from the Interconnector in Greece, Azerbaijan, as well as from gas fields in Bulgaria.
“Minister Steinmeier took our maps of the gas hub with him. The colleague has committed itself to assist in the implementation of these projects not only in Germany but also in whole Europe “- Borisov said.
“We deserve to have our interest protected in Europe, and that we were treated as loyal partners, as we are,” – said Boyko Borisov.
